Are your silk scarves 100% real silk?
Yes — we carry pure silk scarves as well as clearly labelled silk-blend options. Every piece is inspected before we stock it, and we are happy to demonstrate the difference in fibre quality in person at any of our three stores.
How can I tell whether a silk scarf is genuine?
Real silk burns with a smell of singed hair and leaves a crushable, powdery ash — unlike synthetics, which melt and smell of plastic. In our stores our staff are happy to help you identify fibre content and quality before you commit to a purchase.
Do you ship silk scarves internationally?
We do not currently operate an online shop; our scarves are sold in person at our three Grand Bazaar locations in Beyazıt, Istanbul. International visitors are warmly welcomed, and we can also assist by email at info@gulipekhamitfirat.com or via WhatsApp for any specific enquiries.
What sizes and price ranges are available?
We stock everything from small 50 cm pocket squares to long 180 cm wraps. Prices vary by size, weave complexity, dye technique, and design — please visit us or contact us directly for current availability and pricing on any specific piece.
Can I walk in and browse without an appointment?
Absolutely. All three of our Beyazıt stores are open Monday to Saturday, 09:00–18:30, and walk-ins are always welcome. There is no appointment needed — take your time and our team will be glad to help.
